We have read so many mediocre reviews of the Morgan Hills Thousand Trails RV park we were some what reluctant to try it.

The reviews could not be more wrong!  When we arrived the staff was more than helpful, explained the parking process, offered us 50 amp service (which we took, 5.00 per day) and directed us to area G.

It was open select so we took the very end space (G272) and moved on in.  Pretty level site, the coach leveled in about 15 seconds, got to love air level.  Power was right at 240v and the water pressure while a bit lite was consistent and more than good enough.

The only real drawback was that there was a lot of "annual" campers and they have a very weird mix of things on their sites.  Fences, sheds, flower pots, flag poles with solar spot lights, and just a general mixed bag of stuff.  It does give the park a sort of run down look, but hey, they are here for the entire season and it does not bother me,

We did not get a chance to try the pool, it is unheated, but several kids did brave the cool water and dive in.  Maybe next time.

We had intended to go wine tasting on Saturday but you cannot imagine the amount of rain we had.  We took the cowards way out and spent the day driving around, at the farmers market and at a great Mexican Restaurant called la Costa Taqueria. What a find! The tacos are to die for and the enchiladas were great, a must stop if you find yourself on Monterey Ave and in need of a quick but GREAT meal.

I will have more to write about our adventures later this week when I can post the photos and some additional comments,

As part of our expanding RVing, we purchased a Thousand Trails VIP membership and we are at our first Thousand Trails RV park in Morgan Hill, Ca.

We have had a chance to try out the new refrigerator and do we ever love it.  Great job Almeden R V in San Jose.

Dinner of baked chicken and bakers was great.

This is a very nice, quiet park.

Tomorrow is Camping World and wine tasting during Passport weekend. The wineries are all open and have barrel tastings, BBQ and more.

Pictures and more to follow tomorrow.

We are getting ready to head out to Paso Robles, Wine Country RV Resort for the weekend.  We are excited to have the coach back.  New refrigerator (Samsung 197) installed and we are excited to try it out.

Just the two of us as the babies are staying home with their sitter this weekend.

We have great seats for the Giants and A's game on Thursday (thanks Ellen) and are off to Paso Robles after the game.

Looking forward to some wine tasting and  "US" Time over the weekend.

Seahawks WIN!!!

Sunday the Seatttle Seahawks won the last game of the season to finish 11 and 5 and 8 and 0 at home.

They are the number 5 NFC seed for the playoffs.  With a rookie quarterback and so many young players, what a bright future this team has.

GO SEAHAWKS....

Other wise a calm and lazy day again today.  Took the dogs for a long walk and made a really good Swiss steak for dinner.

Fadalgo Bay day 2

Sort of a quite and relaxing day today.

Rain was heavy at times so the babies were limited to how far we walked at a time.

Rainy days and dogs insure several trips through the coach with wet swiffer and vacuum cleaner!!

Made a trip back to the mother ship (camping world) getting the last few things we need for the coach before we head out to San Francisco and New Orleans in January 2013.

Had a really great day and just enjoyed each others company.  You need days like this to recharge the internal human battery and reset the clock.

New Years at Fadalgo Bay RV Resort - Anacortes, WA

We decided to have one last RV trip for 2012.

Been a while since we got out (September) due to work and family commitments.

We left around 2PM from our garage a Federal Way, WA and headed out to Anacortes to the Faldago Bay RV Resort.  We really like this Rv Resort as they are on the water and have a huge area for the dogs to run and swim and jut be dogs.

Nice easy trip on the 28th, about 2 hours and 103 miles.  Weather was great some sun and a few clods.  It has been such a mild winter  so far (fingers crossed).

Arrived around 4 PM and had to get in gear as we had guests set to arrive around 5PM.

Had a nice dinner of chopped Greek, Salad, chicken and dumplings and a raspberry cake.  yummmmm!.
