We have read so many mediocre reviews of the Morgan Hills Thousand Trails RV park we were some what reluctant to try it.

The reviews could not be more wrong!  When we arrived the staff was more than helpful, explained the parking process, offered us 50 amp service (which we took, 5.00 per day) and directed us to area G.

It was open select so we took the very end space (G272) and moved on in.  Pretty level site, the coach leveled in about 15 seconds, got to love air level.  Power was right at 240v and the water pressure while a bit lite was consistent and more than good enough.

The only real drawback was that there was a lot of "annual" campers and they have a very weird mix of things on their sites.  Fences, sheds, flower pots, flag poles with solar spot lights, and just a general mixed bag of stuff.  It does give the park a sort of run down look, but hey, they are here for the entire season and it does not bother me,

We did not get a chance to try the pool, it is unheated, but several kids did brave the cool water and dive in.  Maybe next time.

We had intended to go wine tasting on Saturday but you cannot imagine the amount of rain we had.  We took the cowards way out and spent the day driving around, at the farmers market and at a great Mexican Restaurant called la Costa Taqueria. What a find! The tacos are to die for and the enchiladas were great, a must stop if you find yourself on Monterey Ave and in need of a quick but GREAT meal.

I will have more to write about our adventures later this week when I can post the photos and some additional comments,

Travel safe,

M and M
